All About Toucan Apartments

We have been operating private apartments for discerning
tourists since 1991 in both Amsterdam & Gran Canaria, and here in
Prague since 1997, so we know our clients needs, and do
our very utmost to make their stay an unforgetable
and enjoyable one. We hope that our website will

Selfcatering. You can have your own guests all day and night without extra charges or
any questions asked. Several apartments have safes (see descriptions), but if not you
may store your valuables at the owners place free of charge. Extra sets of keys are
available on request. You may rent a mobile phone with Czech number and prepaid card
(rates on request). Faxes can be sent from the owners office. All Cleaning is generally
done twice a week between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. unless you request it more times or do
not require it. Willem, the owner, speaks very fluent English. He or Vladimir, his fluent
English speaking assistant will be present and they will also be reachable by mobile
phone for assistance. In any emergency Toucan has a 24 hour telephone number for
guests to call. Check out is at 11.00, but for those clients with later departures they
can store their luggage at the owners office. Vladimir and Martin are the drivers for the
transfers and both are English speaking. All staff are gay-friendly.  

Tickets for theatre, musical etc. can be ordered from the owner at check in.  Stamps,
public traffic tickets, phone cards available at check in. Every year from Dec 26th until
Jan 5th there is a 25% supplement. No other surcharges.

Airport Transfers

Normally guests are collected directly from the airport and the driver has the key for
your apartment and takes you directly to your place. The driver will have a nameplate
with your name on it. The fee is EUR 25 one way per car (up to 4 persons). The fee for
a return airport transfer is 49 EUR per car (up to 4 persons).  

Pickup at the train station is 13 Euro (one way) and 25 Euro for a return trip.

Vladimir and Martin are the drivers for the transfers and both are English speaking.

For those people who are comimg by car or not taking advantage of our collection
service you can collect your apartment keys directly at your accommodation by prior
arrangement with the owner, or for those people arriving very late, or who are uncertain
of their arrival time by calling to make an arrangement. The certain phone number will
be provided with the confirmation of your reservation.
