GAY PRAGUE, bars, clubs, restaurants & saunas

The majority of gay venues can be found in the area called Vinohrady,
Praha 2 which is just a few minutes walk from the Wenceslas square
behind Muzeum, but there are places all over Prague.

Praha 2 Vinohrady venues

VALENTINO'S CAFE/BAR
Vinohradska 40,
120 00 Praha 2

Great street level café/bar situated on Vinohradska so in the heart of the gay area, next door is Celebrity café and over the road are 45 Non stop bar and Fenoman club, with Termix just a few minutes walk up the road. In the summer months there's a huge terrace outside which is great for people watching.

TERMAX CLUB
Vinohradska 40,
120 00 Praha 2

Opening in March, will be Prague's largest gay dance club, with 2 bars, VIP area and dark room. More information to follow once it's actually open.

45 NON STOP BAR
Vinohradska 45,
120 00 Praha 2

This is the place where many people go after all the other clubs has closed who still don't feel like going home, it is very mixed during the week but mostly gay on Friday's and Saturdays with a small bar and slot machines at the back, but a great place to pick up people.

Open:

Monday - Sunday 24 hours per day (hence non stop)

FENEMAN BAR
Blanicka 28,
120 00 Praha 2

Cosy bar where to meet the locals, very friendly bar staff, apart from the main bar area there are 'hippy style' chill out areas at the back and in the summer months a beer garden with BBQ's in the weekend.

Open:
Monday - Saturday 17.00 to 05.00
Sunday CLOSED

TERMIX
Trebizskeho 4c
120 00 Praha 2

Crowded but fun trendy disco/club, always packed on Wednesday nights (Czech music night), but they play some English stuff too, Thursdays is kareoke night which is always a scream because of some of the terrible singers. By the toilets there is a darkroom for liasons. My suggestion would be to get there early or late because the middle period is packed and usually a queue to get in.  The prices are Czech prices and there's no entry fee except new years eve.

Open:

Wednesday - Saturday  22.00 to 05.00
Sunday - Tuesday CLOSED

SAINTS BAR
Polska 32,
120 00 Praha 2

Small English owned bar with a mixed crowd of mostly ex pats and the occasional local, but not particularly friendly if you aren't in one of the 'clique's 'that frequent the bar. But, still a good place to kill time before the better places open like Termix just around the corner.

Open:

Monday -Sunday 20.00 to 02.00

LATIEMERIE CLUB
